From posters to flags and banners … from porcelain statuettes and figurines to plaques and pillow shams … the designs of the 3rd Reich remain among the most significant of modern history. Porcelain artist Charles Krafft and militaria collectors magazine editor George Stimson will join me to discuss this fascinating subject. Shown here, left: BDM Girl, porcelain, production begun in 1937. Center: Coburg Anniversary Plate, designed and manufactured to look as though it were terra cotta or clay. Right: SS rider, porcelain w gold leaf trim, put into production in 1936 at the Allach factory, it is considered to be the Holy Grail among 3rd Reich collectors. Himmler gave these as gifts to influential persons in the Reich.
